I got complimentary family room with 2 queen beds as an upgrade, nice gesture. The staff were very helpful and outstandingly accommodating and assisted with free parking. The location was magnificent and lovely in a touristic area, near to a nice market and a sketchy establishment👌

The hotel is very close to the tourist centre. We are very well there. The persons in charge are very nice
They have a problem with the wifi connection, which is a serious problem for me.

L super warm welcome. Small coffee when we arrive. Super cute. Super comfortable. Water bottles in the room. Near the french quarter. Nice breakfast.
The fact that I only slept one night... Everything was perfect.

Everything exceeded high expectations and I had a fairly nice stay in the Old Town. The hotel was a reasonable base for enjoying a nice area, next to French Quarter, downtown, a nice market across the street. The breakfast had plenty of selection, the food was great. I loved the room with a balcony, the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

Funk-tastic! Not clean, remotely updated, or quiet, but funky cool, almost boarding house style. Dog friendly, with 4 cats on the property. Cool patio open all times. History in that building is obvious. Staff was super friendly & helpful. A coin-op washer and dryer avail to use, which was great for me. Breakfast of carbs, coffee, and oj each morning, fridge, toaster, micro always avail on patio, plus mini fridge (clean) in my room. Some said they didn't have hot water pressure, mine was fine. Old school normal house keys for gated entry and your room. Plenty of free street parking available. Wifi worked fine but was told sometimes spotty. Easy walk to Frenchmens, then on to French Quarter. Didn't feel unsafe walking alone.
Cleanliness of easy things was lacking, like floors, or the pile of dust & hair just swept out of the rooms just left in the hall in front of the door... Well worn and some stained linens, time for a toss.

character and atmosphere of the environment: room and furnishings) common room, reception desk and location of the hotel for entertainment and culture.
The lunch schedule was too early and we would have liked it to finish more around 11:00 on the weekend. If possible, orange fruit, apple, yogurt, healthier foods....

The Booked.net for the Inn description is not fair for the customers. Although indicated $59 as after a discount from a $110 value room, the actual room looked shabby. (It is the two double beds room) I would not stay even if it is free. The door is not aligned, the ceiling and room are like a temporary shelter. Some tree houses are built much nicer I think. Besides, the website did not say that there is no bath in the room. The public shower room was dirty and small. The Inn was very close to a bad security street. I felt cheated but the cancellation fee was $59 (the same as the room price.) After trying to at least take a shower and take a 15 minutes nap, I gave up my money and left . It did not feel pleasant at all. I did not dare to stay for the night till their breakfast. The only beautiful place about the Inn is the garden, and the staff is friendly. I felt terrible after that trip to the Inn. To be honest, I seldom complain so much.
